To ensure a historic victory for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP has put all its strength in Kashi. Ministers of the central and state governments are seeking votes in every street of Kashi. Public meetings of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav are being held.
In the last 48 hours, two chief ministers, one deputy CM, three central ministers and six ministers of the UP government have come out in the streets of Kashi to campaign. In the next three days, more than 20 ministers including BJP national president JP Nadda will visit. More than 300 BJP officials and former officials have been assigned duty in different assembly constituencies.
Presidents of 16 parties came for nomination
On May 14, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with Chief Ministers of three other states and national presidents of 16 political parties and other politicians participated in the nomination of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Since then, programs of central and state ministers are being held continuously in Kashi.
After the PM’s nomination, Home Minister Amit Shah has had three programs. JP Nadda has come to Banaras twice in the last fifteen days.
